I recently purchased a GPS tracker called PhotoTrackr lite, http://www.gisteq.com/DPL700.html for encoding GPS data into the EXIF.
Before purchasing it, I did a test run with zenphoto and manually added GPS information to a picture using Photoshop Elements. It worked perfectly.
Using the PhotoTrackr to embed the information, most of the EXIF information (camera details, exposure, ect.) shows up as NULL in the database, including GPS....I've checked the pictures for bad EXIF info using a EXIF reader (Opanda PowerExif) and it reads all details of the EXIF just fine.
I have tried a different program, (GeoSetter) to combine the GPS info, but zenphoto still does not detect the proper EXIF info.
Am I missing something here? What should I try next?
It appears to be a problem with the software that came with the GPS device. I went on the Phototrackr lite forums and found many people having this same issue (improper EXIF encoding). I used the software for Phototrackr lite to export to a GPX file and used another program called GeoSetter to combine it with my photos. Zenphoto picks it up no problem.
Thanks for everyone's help!
