Is there a way of increasing the allowed photo size? When I upload the full res versions from the camera, the thumb nails show up, but when you click on the thumbnail the full res picture shows the nasty little red X. www.melbarr.ca/zenphoto But when I upload the camera phone pictures, there is no problem. I would prefer not to have to resize every photo taken on the digital camera.

If it makes any difference, I am on a rented server from HostGator.

THanks.

Please take a look at our user guide: http://www.zenphoto.org/2007/12/troubleshooting-zenphoto/#10

I understand that the file sizes are too large, but I was wondering if there was a way of modifying the scripting to automatically resize on upload? Instead of having to resize manually before uploading?

I have Picasa, and am currently email myself all the photos to resize, but that is one extra step, and since this is a photo dump, any less time it takes to do the photo dump each time would be great. Currently will be dumping close to 100 pics a day onto it, so would make life a lot easier...

Well, that would probably not be successful. If zenphoto does not have space to resize the image it hardly matters if it tries on upload or when it is displayed. There are some nice image processors that will allow you to batch process your images. On the PC there is Qimage. And of course, Photoshop batch.
