Just installed Zenphoto 1.2.1 and everything else seems fine during the set up except:

.htaccess file [wrong version]
You need to upload the copy of the .htaccess file that was included with the zenphoto distribution.

Well, I did - it came with version 1.2.1.3
All I did to cause this was go in there and change RewriteBase from /zenphoto to /gallery

Needless to say, my setup is incomplete. Any ideas?

Please try loading the .htaccess file unchanged and run setup. Setup will make the change from /zenphoto to /gallery for you. It is most likely that the line endings on the file got changed when you edited it.

You can also move to the nightly builds. (Specially since there was a fix for the rewrite rules for search.) The current build does not rely on line endings in the version check.
