It would be nice if individual thumbnails could be tweaked (vert or horiz position (or both)) in the 'edit' section.

On my site, all thumbs are square (image cropped), which can result in (eg) heads getting chopped off (or other important parts of an image).

I think Facebook has this implemented...

not exactly...

where in the images section of edit a cropped (in my case - square) image preview is shown, I would like to mouseover that preview, click (grab) the image and drag (move) it within that same square area in order to control which part of the image is shown.

ie. I may not want the cropped thumb to show the central part of the image, but rather the part of the image I consider most interesting/relevant (in the case of a human shot, I would like to include the head/face (eg. head/face with a bit of neck), not just a lower part of the portrait (eg. neck and body with face chopped off))

I'm not looking to manually set a bounding box (ala: photoshop crop tool) to crop the image, but rather the ability to determine (via simply dragging the image) which part of the image is included/shown within the already set crop size...

i understand the problem, i've got also a lot of thumbs with people who are beheaded

but it seems they are already working on it
