I would have thought renaming the folder would create/my-new-name-for-a-folder/ in the url?
I get http://bridgesovertime/items/index.php?album=coffee_tables%2FSo+its+custom+made
when I view from admin and click "view album" but when it's a normal view from the front end I get http://bridgesovertime/items/coffee_tables/So%20its%20custom%20made/
Is this normal? I know I can type in the - between words, just thought it would work like when an album is first created. Thanks

Admin does not use the mod_rewrite URLs

I know that, guess I was not clear. my urls, when I rename the folder, have %20 between the words, which is no big deal, but I thought I would not have to type like-this-to-prevent-that (that being the 20% that shows up if you leave spaces) And I am aware, it's great really that when you first upload and create and album, that it actually does add - between spaces when typing out the name of the folder.

When you create an album you are actually supplying the title which is transformed into a folder name replacing those characters. When you rename the folder what you type is what you get.
