An idea I am yet to see in my gallery software search yet is a quick way to make a link to an album/image in a gallery using a thumbnail.

How about some sort of permalink but using thumbnails instead?

The situation im looking to satisfy is a forum post (or any page) where I want to quickly insert a thumbnail with a link to the full image in my gallery. Some sort of fast method for doing this would be nice. Perhaps only availiable to those logged in as admin tho.

It's an easy link to copy! I'll make it a theme function.

It's easy to type in, but I'll make an easy way to copy it from your gallery, either a linked thumbnail, or an image of any size.
