hello

i have been using zenphoto since version 0.8
and just now i upgrade it from version 1.1.5 to 1.1.7
after the installation complete, i tried to refresh database and metadata

on metadata it showing "database connected"
but when i click go to run it end up with error page
(Zenphoto Error: the requested object was not found. Please go back and try again. )

hope someone can help me with problem ?
just for little info, the host server is powweb and i am using japanese language for my web (which might its cause of the problem)

Can you provide a link to the site? I am also using POWWEB with no issues.

It is possible that the language selection is failing. If you can go to he Admin gallery configuration page and select English for the lanuage then see what happens.

At the moment there is no Japanese translation. That should not matter, it should default to English.

about the language, its not about the interface menu, i am using japanese symbol for my gallery album

regarding image file name, is there limitation in file naming ?
ex. file name length, file name form
is it ok if i use space between file name ? like image name.jpg

No, spaces should not be a problem. In general zenphoto should work with all kinds of characters but your server might not support all characters (so most German host's servers I know don'T even support German umlauts like äöü for file/foldernames). So the most secure if not sure about that is not to use any special characters like in the old days...:-).

Are there any Japanese symbols in file names or in the image metadata? That might be the cause.

I have also this problem, when trying to refresh META data, on a specific album, it fails, with fhe following information:

Refresh Metadata
database connected
blandet%2Fhdr not found

I'm using zenphoto version 1.2.2 [3196]

It is a bug. It will be fixed tonight. But in the mean time, using the icon on the album list should work.
