I like the smooth gallery a lot but it is only compatible with the version 1.1.1, does anyone know about good looking themes compatible with the 1.2.2 released version?

All known themes are listed on our themes page but some of the third party themes may not be compatible anymore because we only support the included themes (no resources to do otherwise).
