Hi,

I noticed in the changelog for the new version that work had been done on the RSS feeds. That's all I know though.

I have been having an issue with my RSS feed showing non-images (ai files) in the album folders even though they don't display in the album. I don't really understand why they show up in the RSS feed and what is more strange is that they disappear from the feed when the album is viewed.

So I am just wondering if this will stop happening when I upgrade to the new version. If not, any tips on fixing the problem or why it is happening?

Thanks.

You mean Adobe Illustrator files with ai-files? You should not have them in your albums folder at all...so the fix is to have only the supported file types in your albums folder.

Yes I am meaning Adobe Illustrator files. Surely if they are not a supported file type they should be ignored when in the album folders? I know when generating the album, zenphoto ignores unsupported file types but obviously this doesn't happen when generating the feed.

I still think I will move all the ai files out as you suggest but I wanted to know if there was a lazy way for me to tell zenphoto to just ignore that they exist.

Thanks for your help.

Actually it should do I think (Have to ask sbillard), but it is known that invisible files can also cause trouble (like those Mac OS X uses) sometimes. Generally it is recommend to just have the files support as it also saves webspace..:-)

You should not be seeing any files that do not show up in the album.
