Is it possible to do a search based on album's first letter?

For example people can type "a" in the search box and the search page only outputs all the albums/sub albums starting with letter "a".

Any help would be appreciated.

If the "filename" field is enabled for the search, what you want will happen.

The filename field is enabled but the search outputs all the filenames that have "a" in it not just the ones that start with "a". In any case i got it solved already with an external search/results page.
