After upgrading to 1.2.4 everything seemed working fine at home using Google Chrome browser. This morning tried to see how it looks with IE6 and Toolbox was there and i got in without logging in. I was navigating thru albums but to open any image the password dialog box opens: "The page you are trying to view is password protected.". I never had is set before, I have only the gallery password protection. I supplied the gallery password but didn't get recognized. I logged out grom the gallery then logged in using my admin user name and password and it worked fine but still every image ia password protected.
Any idea how to resolve this? TIA

There must be some cookie handling problems with IE6 for what you describe to be happening. You can try gallery sessions.

Here I'm back to home and finding that my problem is now a bit different. First it was every image (actually page) password protected then later some pages open just fine. Now when I open my only gallery there is "The page you are trying to view is password protected." After I enter the gallery password nothing happened. When I click on gallery page 2 or any other it opens without being password protected.
I enabled gallery sessions and problem is still there. To me it looks like something with DB is wrong. Should I try to reinstall 1.2.4 or use my old DB before I upgraded to 1.2.4?

I took out the gallery password, reinstalled 1.2.4 and everything was normal. No gallery password present nor images password protected. I set gallery password and when opened Zenphoto I was asked for the password. But when I enter it it's not recognized. I could go to myPhpAdmin and change it there but I need instructions, or should I maybe empty the table with the gallery password and run installation again?

Gallery passwords are stored in the Options table, but you cannot directly create one as they are encrypted. You can delete the option record, but that is no different from deleting the password in admin.

Some browsers are "helping" you by filling in user/password fields. Check to be sure that is not happening to you in Admin. Also be sure that the user field for the gallery password is as you wish it--either filled in if you wish a user name to be used or empty if you do not. If there is a gallery user, then that too must be supplied when you log in.

I did check this on different machines and different browsers but no success. I even go and clear index pages in cashe_html but doesn't help.
One more time, if I clear the password in admin it's fine but once I put it back the same: "The page you are trying to view is password protected."

Sorry, but since this is not reproducable by us, I have no idea what is the problem. Only the suggestions I have made above.
