2 days back i have updated my website from zenphoto 1.2.2 to zenphoto 1.2.4 and also i have changed theme. After updating my site it was down, because of too many database connections, then i have checked my hosting, the problem is, all the cache images has been re-created? why it is happening?

The link does not work, no connection to the database.

If you use another theme with other image sizes or just other setting the images are newly generated and cached. But if you don't use the precache functionality that should only happen if the image is visited the first time.

I have one question:

i have images with different sizes, but i want to show images whatever their original sizes, but if the image width exceeds more than 800 pixel, then it should be re-sized to 800 pixel. regarding this situation how can i configure the system.

I did not change any thing on image sizes, but i have changed the watermark position, i think, it may be affect.

Indeed, a new watermark of course needs to be cached also.
