Hiho ZPF

I have a few comments an my Gallery, that were marked as 'private' by the users. Is there a chance to change this state (eg. if this checkbox was set accidently) so that anybody can see them? In ZP backend I can edit the Author/Website/Date/Text but not this state.

Only by changing the value in the database itself. It generally would not be a good idea regarding privacy to override your users' wishes. That's probably the reason why there is no option for that (it could also be forgotten, not sure).

It was a privacy concern.

Oh, I see - and I agree. I came to this, because the gallery had some visitors that wrote a few (really nice) comments and complained about the visibility of them (later) - they were all sat to 'private'.
Maybe I have to get around this 'problem' with a design tweak in the theme ... obviously surfers are trained to check those little "I agree" boxes on the bottom of forms a little too much

Just take the option away from the theme, if they want to send you a private comment they could use email.
