i was browsing the zenphoto forums and could see on couple of places the comment_form plugin mentioned, but i was not able to find any documentation about it. It seems to be officially missing from the zenphoto website?!

Actually what I am trying to achieve is to modify the layout of comments. Currently (if comment option activated) everybody can add comments after filling Name, Email and Website. At first place I want to allow only registered members to be able to post comments. And secondly, if a user is registered it doesn't make sense to fill out Name, Email and Website. I want only a text area to appear. Is this achievable? I am using the Zenpage-Default theme. I'd appreaciate any feedback and suggestions!

The reason you don't find it is that it is a coming feature of Zenphoto 1.2.6. You need either to use the nightly build or wait around two week until the scheduled release date of 1.2.6.

You mean the comment_form? Does it contain the ability to allow only registered users to post comments? Without having to enter name, email and website?

Of course... And yes that has the option to allow only logged in users to comment.
