Is there a way to hide a main album so I can just send links out for subalbums. I dont want users I send a link to to edit the url and be able to view all the other albums? Is this possible?
For example: If i send out this link: http://photo.com/2009/party
I want people to see the pictures from party, but not all the albums in 2009.
Or is there anyway to edit the mod_rewrite url so it only shows the album name and not the folder of the main album?
Hope this makes sense
Thanks
The URL to an album does not "show" the folder of the main album since there is no such name. But of course, the mysite.com url will take you to the index.php page. Pretty impossible to remove that from the links to the albums. The main gallery is displayed by your theme index.php script. You can modify this script to show nothing.
Otherwise, the way to prevent people from viewing something you do not want them to view is password protection.
I set "2009" as unpublished, but they can still access it if they just take out "party"
http://photo.com/2009/party
I think unpublished just prevents it from appearing on the prior page, or in this case, the main page.
