Hi guys!

I will apologize if my question was asked many times before but I just cannot find an answer in the search results...

I have installed ZenPhoto 1.2.8, activated the zenpage plugin and I kept the default theme. After adding a new page, when I try to view it I get the following error:

Gallery | Object not found
The Zenphoto object you are requesting cannot be found.
Page: pages

For published news articles i get the same error:

Gallery | Object not found
The Zenphoto object you are requesting cannot be found.
Page: news

I saw you mention in an older post that you must also set the Gallery index page link in the them options to -gallery-. Problem is that only the following are listed: *none, archive, contact, password form, register.

Also I can't figure out how to activate the sidebar in the default theme.

Basically what I want to do is exactly the same configuration as shown in the ZP demo page.

Thanks for help!

There is a difference between the themes. The demo site uses the "zenpage-default" theme while you are trying to use the "default theme" which does not have Zenpage support. There are only four themes that have Zenpage support:
Two official themes: Zenpage default and efferescence+
Two third party themes: zpfocus and grey simplicity.

Oh my god, I'm so absent! Never understood that Zenpage default is the whole name. ) If only I would have paid some attention at the thumbnails in the themes menu...
Seems to be working just fine now. I'm so sorry for bothering you with such an issue. Thank you very much for your help!

Hi, I have a similar situation, I download ZenPhoto 1.2.9, and installed it. I am using the zenpage-default theme, tried also efferescence+, but I still getting the message:

Gallery | Object not found
The Zenphoto object you are requesting cannot be found.
Page: pages

I removed a page, create another, tried to publish, and never can see anything, just the message above. Someone can help me, please?

If the Zenpage plugin is enabled and the theme (the theme is now named "zenpage") supports it that should not happen. Make sure that setup created the .htaccess file properly. Also a look at the server error log might help as well.

Also check to see of mod_rewrite is the problem. Turn it off and see if the problem exists. What the message is telling you is that Zenphoto could not find the script "pages.php". That script certainly is part of both themes.

The htaccess is ok, all permisions. I look at the error log and found this (maybe a language problem? The language is portuguese:

I don't know what it means

Those errors are about the backend, not the theme. I recommend to try a fresh upload as there seems something not all right.
