I tried shellrent for installation of Zenphoto, but it doesn't work.
What is the best hosting for zenphoto?

I use ZP on DreamHost, it's OK.

how much do you pay?

I use one.com which only give you 12 mb on php and don't have or let you install ffmpeg, for example. They don't let you have a personal php.ini either but they are cheap though:-)

what do you think of hostmonster.com? It has the zenphoto integrated...

If integration means they have an install helper script we neither recommend nor support that (as told on our site and the forum rules)

I'm happy with HostGator. They offer unlimited storage and bandwidth for $60/year. I've been very happy with their service...when I needed a local php.ini, I was able to get it done in about 5 minutes using their live chat support.
