Hi there!
Been away for a long time and decided to give the upgrade a try. Kept "albums" and zp-config; Themes custom I added ORG to the old custom names and installed new; a couple of other files wasn't certain so did same naming to allow for current to install.

Ran setup: am told my php.ini is not set to UTF-8 and can't remember when to find php.ini.

MySQL field collations [Image and Album Tables] Warning
lists tons of files that also relate to the collation

.htaccess file... Warning
I don't think I was ever using mod_rewrite but I did have an .htaccess at root. Had to throw out as install complained it wasn't current

So welcome back...:-) I don't understand what the actual question is but warning are warnings and no errors.

ACTUAlly, I had to change my email and in my forum log, saw reply to this last year. I skipped and went into Admin. Lots of changes. My custom themes are running so will leave alone until I have change to compare .php page coding.

What I don't think I saw: how users are assigned their view privileges; is per user to view or still "global" (shared user/password with everyone viewing all). That was always my problem. I want to give Person 1 different albums to view than Person 2 and each have their username & password. So, if this did change, what configuration do I need to setup.
