Hello All

Is there a way to give a user access to a subalbum only? When I admin users and manage their albums I only have the option to give them access to an album and I need to have users gain access only yo subalbum of certain albums

Thanks in advance

Sorry, it is only possible to set rights for toplevel albums and their subalbums for technical reasons.

hello

I have the same problem.

Current gallery on Coppermine have about 260 000 photos and 700 albums. For migration we need opportunity for control access per albums - is the main problem.

PS: sorry for my english

Well, same answer as above and we have no plan to change that yet. Maybe a user will start on that: http://www.zenphoto.org/support/topic.php?id=6878#post-40373

May be my previos post incorrect.

Now on registration user can be assigned to administrate toplevel albums. Is it possible to add management for full tree of albums there?

PS: again sorry for my english

Setting rights to a top level album includes all of its subalbums.

is understandable. But if I need to give the right to subalbum (and all his children), not giving rights to parent or top level album.
