Hi,

I have a project and I would like to use zenphoto after viewing the script and installing a version for test. Is this script good to support galleries with a big number of photos (50000-100000) and with a traffic of 5000 visitors/days?
Advantages/disadvantages?

It would, of course, depend on the capability of your server. I suggest you do a site search on this topic. You will find that there have been some quite large galleries.

I have successfully tested zenphoto with a gallery of 26,000 +/- photos. It is not currently live and I'm not sure about the 5000 +/- visitors. But it ran just fine for me.

Hello @martinh: Yes, it is possible and it is limited to size of ecch picture & no. of pictures in each album. I'm running gallery website with ~1,50,000 pictures, with out any issue. For more details check out my comments here: http://www.zenphoto.org/support/topic.php?id=7016#post-41214

I am so excited to know how much photos zenphoto can support, I am starting a new project myself and will probably get the chance to test it myself around this week, right now I'm feeding myself with as much information as possible.

I have added up to 10,000 photo and it works great! I would assume most people would use less than this.

Depends on your server. The script will support it but 5000 visitors a day may cause a hiccup. The quantity of photos doesn't have as much an impact.
