Hi
I have little or no knowledge of PHP so this might seem like a stupid question.
I installed Zenphoto (I think) on my website. I copied the unzipped Zenphoto folder to my websiute. I created a Mysql database on my webspace. I then went to the setup page and entered the requested details and pressed Go. Initially I got an error with the Mysql details but I re-entered it and then I then got a blank white page after I pressed Go. I navigated to the Admin.php page and again I just get a white page.
What am I doing wrong here? How do I log into the admin page or have I even installed Zenphoto properly. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I haven't a clue what I am at.
Thanks
Please visit http://www.zenphoto.org/trac/ticket/1626. Download the two files attached to this ticket and copy them into your installation zp-core folder. Of course, be sure you are running Zenphoto v1.3.1.2 first!
You should ask your host if they yave PHP version 5 available and if so, how to select it. You would be really better off with that version. PHP 4 is pretty old now.
Hi
I'm running v1.3.1.2
I updated the two files and I am now getting the attached page when I click save.
I also get a warning before I click save that:
Zenphoto core files [Some files are missing or seem out of variance]
Warning!
Perhaps there was a problem with the upload. You should check the following files:
zp-core/admin-functions.php
zp-core/functions-basic.php
Sorry, but there is no attachecd page. (I did not think the forum has an ability to attach pages.)
The warnings from setup are to be expected. Those are the two files you got from the ticket, so they are not recognized as being part of the 1.3.1.2 release (which they aren't, they are updates to that release.) Anyway, since you explicitly added those files you can ignore the warning.
So, I guess we need to see what the next problem is.
Hi again
Here is the link to my page so you cdan see what I am talking about.
You apparently did not download the files attached to hte above ticket but the source code view of the page itself... (which makes no sense btw....)
At the bottom of these source code view is a link "Download in other formats: Original Format" to actually download the file.
