i just wanted to ask how/where the pages are saved you create with the zenpage plugin, because they get lost if you make a database backup/restore. i find this behaviour quite strange, because the news are saved.
how do i backup/restore the pages i created with zenpage the easiest way?

Page data is stored in the database. So I do not understand when you say that it is lost if you make a database backup/restore. Perhaps you are restoring the wrong thing?

The easiest way to backup/restore is with the Zenphoto backup utility. You get to it from a button on the overview tab of the admin pages.

Perhaps even easier would be to enable the 'auto backup' plugin. Then backups will be made on regular intervals.

ok, that is now a little bit confusing for me... i used the backup/restore utlity from within zenphoto... i think it has something to do with updating to a nightly and downgrading back again (there were some database structure changes) - well, long story short, i restored quite an old backup, got my pages back, restored a newer one and got my album changes back - so i'm happy, even if i don't really understand why it worked this way

Well, in 1.4 a few internal things change. You should always use the backup tool on the same version because of that.

Yes, infact much was changed in the structure in the development stream. That is why you had to check an acknowledgement that reverting might be a problem before Setup would actually make the changes.
