I'm working on a zenphoto website, and browse the forum every day.

The forum and website is very slow, and I get a lot of time-outs. I really like your team, if you want you can host your website on my server?

We've alerted Tris, our project manager on this. Hopefully he will respond to your post. Indeed it is frustrating sometimes.

Every time I try and create a new topic, I get an error saying topic not found. So I found the most relevant topic and will try and post my message in here.

So I'm currently running on ZenPhoto version 1.2.1. My gallery can be seen here.

I have a large amount of galleries and images (2836/26744) due to uploading new screenshots of video games nearly every day. However, the admin-upload.php and page=edit&album=album-title-here pages load [b]very[/b] slowly (no matter which album I'm in). I'm talking slow to the point where I can't have two ZenPhoto pages open at the same time because it'll hinder its loading.

What's the problem here? What can I do to get this running at normal speed?

The problem is that you run such an old version of Zenphoto. We cannot help you with these out of support version.

BTW, you should probably review the forum rules and useage resources. There you will find the terminology we use for Zenphoto. Best to use the same meaning for terms else you will certainly confuse people. For instance, I doubt (but may be wrong) that you ahave a large number of Zenphoto installations (Galleries).

Also, please be careful new content when attaching to an existing post. Read the previous messages and decide if the thread is really on the same subject as you wish to discuss. In this case, the original poster was speaking of the Zenphoto support site--absolutly nothing to do with a gallery's performance.

As well, we really do not need six posts on this topic. Perhaps the following note (which is displayed in [b]RED[/b] just above the box where you type your post) missed your attention somehow.

I didn't make 6 posts. I made 1. Every time I tried to open a new topic, I was led to an ERROR page, which is why I posted in this thread. Perhaps my topic was submitted even though I was brought to the error page?

What else was I to do?

Well, you did make 6 posts..;-) New topics and posts by new members are moderated as the red messages says. It also says they don't appear initially which is why you are led to an error page as it is not there yet. Actually that happens if you try to visit the topic.
