I am trying to upload a file in Arabic, but for some reason zehphoto is renaming the file into --.jpg and adding -- into zp_images->filename Field.

The url for this image is /new-album/--.jpg

Is this a bug or i have setup zenphoto incorrectly.

UTF8 image URIs & mod rewrite enabled

Please let me know ASAP.

Yes, Zenphoto clears out non web standard characters for SEO reasons. If your server really supports Arabic characters in file names if you are not in the Arabic area.

You can disable the zenphoto_seo plugin.

Or, better still, if you can provide some seo transltions of the arabic characters to add to the zenphoto_seo plugin these could be nicely transformed.
