I am needing to know if it is possible to launch a zen photo preview site. I am using godaddy virtual server with the plesk control panel. The control panel generates a preview link, however I think the coding of zenphoto is causing it to try and go to the actual domain name. Normally, this wouldn't be an issue, but I have not changed the nameservers yet. My client wants to keep the current site live until the launch date of the new site.

Can I alter the coding to keep it from loading the domain name? I tried but the exact preview link in and it will only load in what I believe is chinese.

I don't understand the question completly (I don't know Plesk as well).

If you installed Zenphoto in the root of www.yourdomain.com then that is it's address. Otherwise install it in a subfolder like www.yourdomain.com/.

Sorry, the question is a bit strange. My plesk panel generates a preview link before the DNS is switched over, for previewing sites. I am also new to plesk, so not completely sure on this one. I gave up and just bought a domain for testing purpose, I can set everything up there and allow the client to preview and then transfer to the domain when ready. Hopefully, most of my clients will not have blogs pointed to their domain name and I can just build it there directly.

There was another thread on this. I am guessing that the virtual server stuff is a bit hacked up and therefore does not really work for some reason with Zenphoto. Maybe mod_rewrite fails, who knows. Anyway, seems not to be a Zenphoto issue.
