Could someone please let me know the exact details of how to properly batch-delete ALL comments in a gallery? I'm helping to maintain a gallery thats been hit with a ton of spam - and I just want to delete the whole file. I'm a little unsure of phpmyadmin, although I do have access to it through the cPanel. I would hate to hurt anything on this website, so would appreciate a walkthrough of how to properly and safely dump the previous comments database and then get the site running again (without comments at all this time. LOL)

If you have a bit of daring, you should install the development build nightly. In it there is a new "bulk action" feature that will let you check the comments you want deleted and then delete them all.

If you want to do this via cPanel I presume you will have there the PHPMyAdmin app which will let you browse your comments table, ckeck the ones you want to delete and bulk delete them.

Thank you! That was much easier than expected. I simply "emptied" the file in phpmyadmin - not quite as scary as I had anticipated.

Thank you for your help and quick reply!!
