Hi Guys.

My baby born just a few days ago and I'm really happy.
But my days are full and my nights sooooo short.
Because I don't have enough time to search the information myself and make many tries, I would like your Zenphoto genious advice.

My family and family in law are in different countries but some would like to have (often) recent pictures of the baby.

I have a Synology Diskstation and woulk like to know if, with Zenphoto, (or another solution) it is possible to do this:

1°) Inform people that they can be informed when new pictures are available (RSS?)
2°) When I take new pictures I put them in a special directory onto my Synology Diskstation. The one who asked to be informed received an alert (RSS/email) and can view these pictures.
3°) They also can post comments that I can moderate (you never know).
Because family and family in law do not speak the same language (french / english), it should be perfect if I can have the interface in the both languages (and eventualy a button "translate")

So, does somebody can tell me if it is possible ?
Maybe not all my needs... 1, 2 or/and 3 ?
And how much it is complicated ?

1. Yes, RSS.
2. Yes, RSS available for specific albums.
3. Yes.
4. Yes, if your server has gettext support and the right locales installed (setup will tell you). For the backend and the official standard themes many translations are available incl. French.

You would have found that info if you just watched the slideshow on our download page btw.
