Hello,

Can someone confirm that you can't Shift-click or Control-click to highlight multiple files on image upload in IE9?

Also that image ordering doesn't work in IE9.

This is what is happening for me anyway - trying to determine if an issue in my IE or Zen setup.

Thx,
Ewan

Yes, you can upload multiple files doing that (if you use the flash multifile uploader). The script used is named uploadify. Try a google search if that maybe has a problem with IE9. I can't test IE9 but I believe my collegue does.

You can also upload via ftp which is more convenient if you upload many images anyway.

Image ordering should work. If not you need to look for js errors. We don'T use the latest jQuery yet as we had no time to check our various dependencies yet (we had major problems with that once).

Also try using another browser, it works for sure with Firefox and Safari. If it does not for you as well it is somehow your setup.

Btw, which Zenphoto version?

Zenphoto version 1.4.1.3 [7990]

It's an upgrade of an existing site, all seems fine at my end, though did have some permissions issues, I've had to chmod existing albums to 777 instead of 755 for instance to get sub album creation to work.

Client having problems on his end with Firefox upload (thus IE9 query - as second choice!) Can only upload 2 to 5 images at a time when 8 or 12 images selected, and not predictable.

Any thoughts? Suggestions?

Max file upload is set at 10mb in php.

Happy to let you in if want a look.

Well, the 10MB upload limit counts for all you upload, so if 8 images are more it most likey will not work. Maybe you can check that.

Why and if the script does not notify about that I can't answer at the moment (even if adapted it is 3rd party so we don't know every detail).

For the HTTP upload IE indeed does not seem to allow multiple image selection (FF does.)

For the flash upload both IE and FF allow multiple file selection.

You should try both methods to see if it the uploading issue is localized to one of the scripts.
