I'm getting this in all of my titles after uploading images, either through ZP or FTP. I'm using multiple languages (English and Dutch as default), no http language.

Could it be coming from metadata in your images? The only place the string x-default even appears in Zenphoto code is as a test for the string in the Video metadata processing library we use for Video type images.

I just checked all the metadata of an image, and can't find anything like this in those fields. And I'm only using a few fields, because my image editor (Gimp) strippes all the exif anyway after saving the jpeg.

The module where this string appears is not even used by Zenpoto! Guess we will remove it.

So, no idea where that is coming from. Certainly not Zenpoto code.

I have disabled every plugin, one by one (even the tiny_mce) and each time uploaded a new image. And each time that string appears in my titles. I have no other programs installed. Yes, I do, WordPress, but both installation are side by side and nothing is used between them. Perhaps that module is still linked to ZP somehow?

Why don't you create a trouble ticket and attach one of the files which does this to the ticket. Then we can investiate.

But I speculate that most likely the source is the image metadata.

And just after I did this, I noticed that line in one of the XMP-fields of that file... So I guess you're right. Now I have to see where that came from. Thanks for you suggestions and forget the ticket.

One more thing though... I disabled the XMP plugin and this line with the x-default appears to be in the XMP embedded title. Shouldn't this then not have been imported by ZP?

Ok, I just mentioned the same and attached the metadata as reported from Photoshop.

The xmp plugin is more specifically for xmp sidecare files. Metadata embedded from Photoshop for example is read regardless if that is enabled or not.

Also, (and noted in the ticket), you can disable Zenphoto from looking at individual metadata fields. So you should probably do that--it is the headline field that contains this data.

I just wanted to mention that I found out that it is the software gThumb (Linux/Gnome) that is causing this trouble, not Gimp.
