Move to sub-domain from root domain?

I need to move a ZenPhoto web site that has zenphoto at its root domain to a sub-domain of that site.
i.e.

from mysite.com to zp.mysite.com

How can I make this possible?

Change the domain and rerun setup. Although that is not needed as a subdomain behaves like a main domain (setup would only change the rewritebase which is in both case / if ZP is in the root of the domain).
