I'm not sure what to do now; it's installed, configured and the thumbs and links on the main page all seem in order. but when I click on the gallery, the second page loads in a bunch of junk. I uploaded a second gallery just to verify and yes, the same thing happens. any ideas?

thanks so much for the support...

Can we see a copy of your htaccess and your zp_config files please?

htaccess file for zenphoto

NOTE: Change the RewriteBase below to the absolute path to your zenphoto directory.

RewriteEngine On

!!! Change this to the web path (eg: http://www.example.com/photos --> /photos) !!!

RewriteBase /zenphoto

RewriteRule ^admin/?$ zen/admin.php [R,L]

RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -f [NC,OR]

RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -d [NC]

RewriteRule ^.*$ - [R,L]

RewriteRule index.php$ index.php [L,QSA]

RewriteRule ^page/([0-9]+)/?$ index.php?page=$1 [L,QSA]

RewriteRule ^page/([A-Za-z0-9-_]+)/?$ index.php?p=$1 [L,QSA]

RewriteRule ^(.*)/page/([0-9]+)/?$ index.php?album=$1&page=$2 [L,QSA]

RewriteRule ^(.*)/image/(thumb|[0-9]{1,4})/([^/\]+)$ zen/i.php?a=$1&i=$3&s=$2 [L,QSA]

RewriteRule ^(.*)/image/([^/\]+)$ zen/i.php?a=$1&i=$2 [L,QSA]

Catch-all - everything else gets handled in PHP for compatibility.

RewriteRule ^(.*)/?$ index.php?album=$1 [L,QSA]

Hmm... I really don't see anything out of the ordinary. Have you tried with mod_rewrite turned off?

In your zp-config.php file, try setting $conf['mod_rewrite'] = false;

that did it!!! thank you!

for anybody reading to learn, he meant to change it in "zp-config.php" not .htaccess; it's easy to find the line to replace.

oops, my bad. Yeah, edit the zp-config.php file. I'm glad it worked out. I'll edit my post above.
