Create re-sized images all at once...

We are new to this so this might be something we don't understand correctly.

However, in this forum and others it has been noted that once you load a number of pictures into an album, the display of that album will be slow the first time since the thumb nails and the display images are re-sized at that time.

After the first viewing, then everything works very nicely and there are not these long delays.

So it improve the experience of our users, is there a way to get Zenphoto to create those cached re-sized images all at once. Rather than needing to click through all the pages and images to get that done?

Any help or directions would be greatly appreciated.

There used to be an option for that but it was decided that the con's outweight the pro's. Especially with large galleries it would put to much strain on the servers recources and result in time-outs and such.

Also this backend size was only able to take the standard setting to create. Themes however may choose to use layout specific sizes not covered. So doing this would be for nothing.
