Photo problem (flickerd)

I just installed the latest gallery version and have the Flicked Theme installed. I am experiencing a problem where my vertical photos are displayed horizontally and they are distorted. Is there a setting for this or I am doing something wrong.

I added the name of the theme to the topic title so maybe the author of the theme (amereservant) may spot it.
