Hello Folks,
i've just installed ZenPhoto and it's the best photo script i've found so far.
But there is a small problem with my installation.
I know there are a few threads with similar topics but those seem to be a littlebit different.
To my problem:
some pictures i've uploaded aren't cached and if i cache them manually it also doesn't work.
my memory limit is 90MB. And i don't think it's becase of that cuz it's not depending on the pixel or filesize.

PS: I don't know how to post to your bugtracker.
PPS: Sorry for my english.

That php limit should be enough but your server might not be true about that. . Are you sure about that limit? Is that set by your provider? If you set it yourself it might not be true.
The symptoms on the site is that the images are not created because they are too big dimensionwise. There could also be something else wrong with the image files itself technically. Are there any other errors in your server log?
thank you for your fast reply.
it's not nessesary witch picture I upload and i don't think a quater of my pictures are corrupted.
I've got a at least a limit of 32MB (package discription of 1&1)
Phpinfo says 90MB.
even if i change the simultanous task in my browser to 1 it doesn't work.
I've got no error log's.
If those pictures are too big dimensionwise why do other pictures work?
regards trigonom.
Are these images by chance taken by different cameras? Sometimes corrupt metadata (exif) causes this as well somehow.
Also, the images per se might not be too big but if you got lots of theme to process thumbs the server could time out.
See `http://www.zenphoto.org/news/troubleshooting-guide#some-of-my-images-aren-t-loading-and-or-pre-cache-doesn-t-work`
There's an explanation on how to debug images.
Some Pictures got currupted and the rest of it is to big.
The pictures were all scanned by my canon mx 580.
I've resized some of them with office picture manager.
Now i've edited all of them and most are working.
The rest depends to the memory limit. (32MB)
But i don't think that the scanned pictures are corrupted.
Could it be possible that your script searches for a specific term in those files and if this term isn't at the beginning zenPhoto displays an error?
Okay now i've to resize some pictures and start to use your nice gallery.
Thank you for your help
Trigonom
It will resize them
It will try to extract metadata from them
Either of these can cause failures if there is corruption in the image.
Note that corruption in this case is defined as something that the graphics library cannot handle or some metadata that causes a script fault.
If the images are scanned then presumably there is no metadata. But they can still be too large to be resized.
Since your picture `Baby10 28.06.11` does render correctly on my system but not on yours, I presume your server does not have the necessary memory to process it.
