zpmasonry_v1.4.1 Get Latest Images

Dear friends,

i've been using this theme and loving it a lot. I would like to change the index page display

"Random Images" to "Latest Images"
want to grab latest date imges printed as for the exif creation date there.
Any way someone can guide me to change function so that it fetch latest ones instead random ?
