Default and Testing theme works but nothing else

I would really like to get the Highslide theme to work but not successful yet. I have been reading alot of posts but did not find anything.

I am running locally so I can not share the issue.

Couple Observations:
- the theme options are viewable from the settings page meaning it allows me to switch the theme and it shows the image of the theme but when switching to view album ...nada seesm like it goes to default
- when selecting stopdesign it looks like it resizes the thumbnails but nothing else
- Does highslide come with the needed .js files with the theme?

    Is there a theme.txt file in your /cache directory? What's in it? What's in it after you change themes?
