Pb with zenpage and albums

Hello,

Thank you very much for this nice software.

I'm surely doing something stupid.

I installed Zenphoto and it works fine. So far, so good.

Now, I enabled zenpage and create my first page. Well, the article appears, fine, but the gallery of albums disappeared from the first page. No link to get into it.

If I disable zenpage, the albums appear again in the first page.

What I'm doing wrong and how can I debug this ?

You should mention what theme you are using. But probably the answer to your question is that the theme design moves the gallery listing to a secondary page and provides a link to it on the first page.

Of course, if there is nothing but albums the first page probably should be the album index. But even that is not a fixed rule. The Effervescence+ theme does let you designate a custom script as your first page. If that is done then of course the gallery listing does move.

If you are using the Zenpage theme there is an option which will allow mixing of news and images on the first page--combinews. But that is still not the gallery listing.

In fact, I'm using the Zenpage theme (nice one...).

I succeeded to have a gallery menu on the side when I enabled the print_album_menu. I was trying to have the gallery displayed in the first page, but this is OK for me. Probably even better.

I'm not yet mastering the possibilities of zenphoto/zenpage. It seems great. Congrats.

The Zenpage theme has an option called "news on index". If that is enabled - should not by default as far as I remember - the index page does not show the gallery index but the news index.
