need help post install / symlinks for albums

Hello,

I am trying to assess if zenphoto will work on my seagate nas (goflex home) where I've installed an archlinuxarm and lamp server. The installation worked ok almost out of the box, I fiddled a bit with the options and then I wanted to test how zenphoto shows my pictures. So I proceeded to symlink to one of my pictures folders. I then went to the overview section where zenphoto showed me the two folders and five files, but in the albums section I could only see broken images. I tried a different browser with a guest account and found broken images. Here's what my apache error log shows:

    Sorry, I admit to never have used symlinks. Did it work correctly without symlinks? Zenphoto stores all albums within the root /albums folder. You need to have folders (you cannot have images within /albums directly) within that can have images or further albums (your server space and the usability is the limit for levels).

    `imagecreatefromjpeg()` is a GD library function that is "loading" a jpeg file. The error message you got indicates that the file it loaded was corrupt. So I suspect that either symlinks are not supported somewhere in that library or that the data transfer is having problems.

    Thank you for your messages. I tried the software with the classic methods of adding albums and photos and it works no problem.

    Unfortunatelly digging into php code is not really something I have time for - I did find something that seemed to be useful about this problem, but I just don't have the skills, time or patience for it:
