Adding More CodeBlocks

Hi,

I want to add additonal codeblocks to ZenPage. The current theme that I am using. I went zp-core, and extensions and searched for codeblocks copied copied and pasted the lines that added another for codeblock 4 and 5. it did not work.

If you could please what files and code needs to be changed to add additional code blocks in all the sections that have them in them. gallery, pages, alblums, images etc. would be greatly appreciated.

Items have max. 3 codeblocks. As sbillard indicated you need to modify the script to get more. Of course you need also to change the database for that and do a bit of coding. Needless to say that you will get problems with updates as your changes will be overriden.

Seem like this is a good extension. There is now an implementation in the development stream for an unlimited number of codeblocks.

You can try it after tonight's nightly build: just use the Development files.

Great, agreed, maybe an idea to do have that option for custom fields as well.

It is actually possible to do that via a filter already. There is even an example plugin somewhere. I meant to write a plugin for that sometime but well, there is a list with things (two themes I didn't get to finish as well yet). Too less time...:-)

I do not think we will change the custom field. Really, at this point it would make more sense to just use a codeblock field for general storage. And such a change will most likely break existing uses of the custom field.
