Uploading Slow

Hi

When I attempt to upload multiple files at the same time it appears that only 2/3 files actually upload at once, and they do so slowly whether using http/flash/JQuery. Any thoughts on how to upload more files at once and how to make the process faster?

NB. I have set generous post_max_size and upload_max_filesize.

Also, I use Chrome as my main browser and it seems that I always receive an error when trying to upload, yet IE and Firefox seem to be fine. Is there any fix for this?

    FTP is the most efficient means to upload files.

    I run a printing service so it's my members who do all the uploading. They cannot access FTP and therefore need to be able to upload images through the website itself. Any other thoughts on how I can make the upload process faster?

    So they are uploading finedata images with huge resolutions and file sizes? Just asking, are you sure the server matches the workload like that the generous setting you set are really applied?

    Regarding Chrome: So what error then? We cannot guess. Anyway, it might be that the upload tools (jQuery upload and the flash upload) are adapted ones so to fix that would be the task of their developers. You could search the tools' sites for any known issues.
