Apache error after saving MySQL details during Installation

Hi

I set up a localhost on a XP PC and while trying to install zenphoto the only thing to put in was the MySQL login and pw. But every time I hit save I get an Apache error. Then the installation will only work again if I delete the installation files (now including zp-data, robots.txt...) and copy the originals back again. But this will only happen when I put in the correct login and pw, otherwise it'll just work normally and reply login failed with this user name or such.

I have screen shots of the Apache http errors:
http://master-minrod.netau.net/zenphotoerror/Error_1_of_2.jpg

and:
http://master-minrod.netau.net/zenphotoerror/Error_2_of_2.jpg

My config:
WinXP sp3 32 bit
Apache 2.2.22 win32-x86-openssl-0.9.8t
PHP 5.3.10-Win32-VC9-x86 (thread safe)
PHP info:
http://master-minrod.netau.net/zenphotoerror/PHP_Info.html
MySQL 5.5.22-win32

Thanks for your time

Regards
Minrod

  • The first screen seems to be just saying that a problem report has been created. I presume that the files listed in the second screen contain that data. Anyway, my German is a bit rusty, but I do not believe there is any information in those screens other than that the PHP module took a fault.

One would expect that this is some kind of configuration issue since all that will have happened with the setup program is that it will have attempted to attach to your database.

I do not know if this works on Windows XP, but you might want to give WampServer a try. It is all integrated and ready to run. It is what we developers use for our local testing.
