avatars and auto activation of accounts

It would be nice if all new registered users are able to upload a profile pic to their user accounts. And if there is a possibility of activating accounts automatically without sending any email for verifying. I know verification is needed for security purposes but people using a free server seldom have this option active. Even if they have, its like 1 mail per hour or 5 mails per day. And if this limit exceeds then their accounts are hung!!

    Feature request need to be made via tickets. Stuff on the forum gets lost. (We have these sub forums for legacy reasons as our software does not allow merging - we actually don't really care what is posted in which)

    Since we have no means to display profiles on the front end a avatar would only appear on the back end anyway. We don't have "author pages" like for example Wordpress does. You would have to use Zenpage pages to create such things. For example by connecting the user name with the titlelink of a page.

    The verifying is also necessary so no one else registers for someone. A kind of double opt in actually.
