How to change a Directory name with out deleting the files in the directory

Hi all,

zenphoto help us to create SEO directory name.
but I would like to change our file and folder name and hope the directory name change.

Our site here:
http://1004.tw/site/illustration-/blot-/--_1334229529.jpg.php

hope to change to
http://1004.tw/site/illustration-/beauty/nicegirl.jpg.php

So you want to rename an album and an image? Use the tools on the backend on each album and image edit page.

no, I would like to change the site path to other name.
when I rename album and image name. The site path doesn't change.

Is there any why to do it?

So I am confused. The example you posted above was about albums and now you mean the site?
Example from above:
http://1004.tw/site/illustration-/blot-/--_1334229529.jpg.php
Zenphoto is installed in a folder named "site" apparently and the album is "Illustration" with the subalbum "blot" and an image named "--_1334229529.jpg"

hope to change to
http://1004.tw/site/illustration-/beauty/nicegirl.jpg.php
Here we have the same but the subalbum of "Illustration" is named "beauty" and the image named "nicegirl.jpg".

So again, rename the album and the image. And note that titles and names are two things.

If you want to remove the "site" (which your above example really doesn't tell) move Zenphoto to the root and re.run setup (or change the rewrite base in .htaccess manually).

Then you have to rename the parent album "illustration" and its sub album "blot" individually on each album page on the admin. Same for the image filename.

You can do that also on the filesystem directly but then you will loose all the data you have entered manually as Zenphoto being file system based will discover all as new albums and images.

Is there any whay to change the route without loose data?

I hope when I change the album name on admin panel and the route also can be changed at same time.

Is it possible to do it?

As I said use the backend tools, then you won't.

THe route consists of the folder names of an album. So if you change "illustration" the route of course changes to what ever you rename the folder. But you have to do that with all levels of sub albums you have.
