Okay folks trying out both Zenphoto and Piwigo for the whole family album online attempt. Like both products but for different reasons. Zenphoto handles video right out the gate, while Piwigo is easier to administer groups/logins.
So I figure I must be missing something with Zenphoto as it appears to be so much more robust than Piwigo. I have installed the plugin for groups and for logout.
What I would like to accomplish is that anyone visiting the gallery can view public photos, non protected albums. Then if someone LOGIN they would see the protected private folders. (Can't imagine why my mother-in-law doesn't want those photos of her out in the open.)
Yes I have searched the forums, but most of it looks a year old, so thought this might have been accomplished by now.
Can someone please give me a quick kick in the right direction?

Note that the logged in admin with the appropiate rights sees everything by default.
