zpSkeleton: Thumbnail custom crop problem

Hi all,

I am just begining with zenPHOTO (by the way congratulations to the team).

In the Albums > Images page, when clicking on a thumbnail, a custom cropping is proposed. But after moving the square and clicking Apply, nothing happens : thumbnail has not changed in the admin part, nor in the public part.

Can anyone give me some clue to find out what is wrong in my setup ?

Here is some context information :
Zenphoto version 1.4.2.4 [10045] (Official Build)
Current locale setting: fr_FR.UTF8
?Current gallery theme: jjdSkeleton (a zpskeleton customization)
PHP version: 5.2.17
Graphics support: PHP GD library bundled (2.0.34 compatible)
PHP memory limit: 128M (Note: Your server might allocate less!)
MySql version: 5.1.49

Regards,

Rodolphe

Have you tried a standard theme? zpSkeleton is a 3rd party theme that might not allow custom crops. Those only work if you use standard image sizes on the theme and this one might override these for layout reasons.

I can't tell as I don't know the theme naturally but its author gjr will probably be able to tell (you could also ask in his own forum for the themes).

I changed the topic title so gjr might spot it.

Thank you for your quick answer :-)

Following your advice, I have just changed to the Default theme and can see the cropping is working in the public part. So I guess, I have misconfigured something in zpSkeleton theme.

But on the admin side, the Albums > Images page still show the default cropping thumbnail, not the custum cropping, even after refreshing the page...

Only gjr can answer if his theme uses hardcoded thumb sizes for layout reasons, so not necessarily configurable at all.

The admin side does not really matte, for layout reasons the custom crops are not used there (I think, don't remember right now).
