    As always please review your error logs.
  • I did, and looked for the error, all in vain, here is a line (one of hundred similar) from the log:
    ================================
    NOTICE: Undefined index: sortableList in /.../zp-core/admin-albumsort.php on line 35
    ================================

    Amy idea?

    Not directly. How many images do you have to sort there? If those would be hundreds it could be that you exceed form element POST limits on your server. But there should be an erro about that, too.

    I assume you are on Zenphoto 1.4.6. btw.
  • In that particular album there are 150 images.

    I am running my site in the hosting environment so I (guess I) don't have control/access to element POST.

    Yes, it is ZenPhoto 1.4.6

    Thanks, Marin

    Ok, thanks. I will try to reproduce it.
  • I got the same "Nothing Changed" just today when I tried to sort an album with 40 pics. It took a couple of tries but it finally applied changes. Would the size of the pics matter?

    I've noticed other things don't always change right away too but I can't remember specifics at the moment. I never know if it's me or a glitch though or maybe a slow host problem.

    I see a "Logs" tab but do I have to enable any options or plugins for error logs. When I open the "Logs" tab there are tabs for Debug, Security and Setup. I didn't see any reference about sorting images.

    I'm using Zenphoto 1.4.6 with Zenpage.

    Logs are automaticaclly used on their purpose. Security is used by certain plugins, setup by, well, setup and debug is the general one.

    Note that it only logs server (PHP) based errors, not browser related ones like JavaScript errors. For those see the log of your browser. In any case try to use an as current browser as your system allows.

    Also debug log may not log all errors as some are only logged in your server's error log (yes that has one as well, ask your host where to find it).

    As to the issue reported we were not able to reproduce it so far. It might be because of host limit as shared hosts often do that.
  • Thanks Acrylian. I just remembered that I had a problem selecting and saving a thumbnail as the album cover. I tried refreshing metadata (?) but I just think the changes didn't show right away.

    I'm loving Zenpage! I've made some basic changes to make it look like part of my site. I'm still learning the plugins and all the options but I really like the Zenpage features and it works well with my website. Great job!

    Metadata actually has nothing to do with saving album thumbs. Metadata refresh re-reads data embedded into the images itself. Caution with that as it can overwrite data you entered manually.

    If it occurs again please post any error message you can find. Otherwise it is just guessing from our side that does not really help.

    Thanks for the kind words about Zenpage! Don't confuse the plugin with the theme. Themes are of course meant to be modified to personal likings.
