Zenphoto install troubles (Error 403)

Hi, I'm new to Zenphoto and trying to get it installed on my Netgear ReadyNAS RN104 NAS/Webserver. I've downloaded the installation files and extracted them to my share where I would like the installation. The share has HTTP and SMB protocols enabled.

When I go to the share with my web browser, the installation page appears. At the top under Systems Check it says zp-core security compromised, before I even start installation.

After I enter my information and mySQL DB password, I instantly receive Error 403, Forbidden, which tells me I don't have access to this folder.
The Security permissions on the NAS are set to Everyone/Anonymous, so it seems like the error is coming after the zenphoto installation page is opened.

Please let me know how I can fix this.

Thanks

I have no knowledge about a Netgear NAS server but you can review the required permissions here: http://www.zenphoto.org/news/permissions-for-zenphoto-files-and-folders
  • I've read through that document, and many others on the site, but still have no luck. Any other suggestions?

Are you sure PHP and MySQL are properly installed on the NAS ?

Be sure that your user you upload the files with is the same as the user that is running PHP on your server. Otherwise you might need to change the ownership of the files via FTP after uploading. I know at least one webhost where you sadly need to do this.
