Prev and Next show unexpected characters

I just noticed that at the bottom of album thumbnail pages, "«" is just to the left of "prev" and "»" is just to the right of "next."

Any ideas on how to get rid of this? I don't think it was like that before my recent upgrade to 1.4.3.1 [10590] (Official build).

Those would be coming from the theme. Look at the parameters to the function calls for printing those links.

Thanks, I found the error by searching for "prev" in album.php in the default theme included with ZenPhoto 1.4.3.1 and the default theme that I had edited about a year ago.
