No, there is currently no way to sort sub-albums, and they are not yet officially supported. Official and feature-complete (including sorting, uploading, editing, etc.) will be in version 1.1, scheduled for release within 6-8 weeks. Sorry about that!
No sorry, I'm happy that sub-albums will be fully supported soon. But I hope that the official version will be compatible with the unofficial. Thanks for great job with ZEN.
The current sub-album interfaces (the way themes work, the object model, etc.) will remain the same :-) Just the administration interface needs to be done.
"The current sub-album interfaces (the way themes work, the object model, etc.) will remain the same..."
So does that mean if you have 20 subalbums in an album, they will all be displayed on one page with no means of splitting them across pages (like images)? It seems that the `printPageListWithNav` function only applies to images in an album, not subalbums...
I guess, even if it is possible to have a pager for subalbums, from a usability point of view this is not desirable. 2 pagers (one for subalbums, the other for images) on the same page would be confusing. Why not follow what every other gallery does and have subalbums and images displayed together in one lot (subalbums get listed first), with a single pager handling the navigation?
I'm talking mainly about the programmers' API above; even if I change the way they page it should still code relatively the same way.
And if anything needs to be changed, people can change it. No big deal. It's "beta" software still, which is another way of saying I can mess with it as much as I want (within reason) and still have an excuse because it's "in testing." ;-) I do try not to change too much though, no worries.

Just my opinion
