Resizing Images

This question may have been posted before, but I can't seem to find the right answer.
Basically, I have two types of image format - square and 35mm. My squares are sized at 500x500 px and my 35mm usually 600x400 px.

Under the zen/zp-config.php I used 500 on my image size, which worked fine. But now that I've uploaded some 35mm format it resizes my images slightly smaller.

Is there a way I can make the default size to 100% so that it would recognize each image size and size it accordingly? If so, where do I go to do this? Thanks.

I'm still on 1.0.6

  • If i am not mistaking.. zenphoto will NOT scale up an image so if you make your default image size so if you make it 600px then it will just leave the images alone. Beyond that.. there isnt a way to make zenphoto recognize 2 different image sizes and process accordingly
  • Hey Chili - thanks for the reply. I did resize at 600px and it works. My concern at first was that the 500px images would also get resized to 600px, which would normally render it blurry and pixelated. My idea was, you can decrease image output from a large image without loss, but cannot increase from small image without pixelating. But is not the case with Zenphoto, which works great. Thanks again!
